Jamie L. Reyes-Jones

Jamie L. Reyes-Jones is the firm’s managing member and has been representing labor unions and Taft-Hartley funds for 20 years. Raised in a union household, she knows first-hand the benefits that unions provide for members and their families. While earning her J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law, she realized she could combine both her passion for the law and her passion for the labor movement by focusing her legal career on the representation of labor unions.

She joined the firm in 2002 and has had the privilege of working with various unions and their fringe benefits funds over the years. Ms. Reyes-Jones currently focuses her practice on the representation of both union and multiemployer pension, welfare, and apprenticeship funds. She assists clients with plan creation, design, and qualification matters; day-to-day administrative functions such as processing appeals, reviewing service provider contracts, and drafting/revising policies and procedures; staying in compliance with the numerous laws impacting ERISA plans such as HIPAA, MHPAEA, ACA, PPA, the No Surprises Act, etc.

Michael A. Evans

Michael A. Evans represents labor unions and multiemployer fringe benefit funds. He has represented labor unions in a wide variety of matters, including arbitration, litigation, collective bargaining, picketing/work stoppages, organizing, and National Labor Relations Board charges. Furthermore, Mr. Evans has represented benefit fund clients in plan design and compliance matters, as well as litigation and agency audits. He has argued and prevailed in cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the Missouri Supreme Court.

Mr. Evans is a 2006 graduate of Washington University School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as an editor of the Washington University Law Review. He is licensed to practice in Missouri, Illinois, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth and Ninth Circuits, and various United States District Courts. Mr. Evans is also a registered lobbyist in the state of Missouri. He is a member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, the AFL-CIO Lawyers Coordinating Committee, and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
